Kindergarten Physical Days

All children entering Kindergarten in Nebraska are required to have a physical examination within six months prior to entering school. In the Spring and early Summer, Complete Children’s Health dedicates several clinic days to providing Kindergarten Physicals. The children go through ‘stations’ for each aspect of their appointment – vital signs, hearing test, vision screening, etc. Each child receives a “Ready to Start” tee shirt. We look forward to helping get your child ready for his/her first year in school.

To schedule your appointment, please call 402-465-5600, or speak with our front desk staff at your next visit.

At this visit, we will perform a vision screening test with your child. Reviewing the information on this link will make the experience easier and more fun for your child:

Psychology Services

The development and growth of children depends on their physical, emotional, and social well-being. Based on recent reports, emotional and behavioral problems are estimated to affect one in every five children, but less than half of those children receive the help they need. Thus, Complete Children’s Health Psychology Clinic provides integrated care to children and their families.

The Psychology Clinic is a specialty clinic staffed by Pediatric Psychologists. Our goal is to collaborate with your child’s pediatrician to provide comprehensive assessment and treatment for common childhood issues in school, home, or primary care settings.

Services include psychological testing and therapy for families, children, and adolescents for a wide range of behavioral and emotional concerns, including: Anxiety, Depression/Mood concerns, Attention problems, Anger control and behavior concerns, Adjustment to life stressors, School concerns, Sleep problems, Toileting problem, Autism Spectrum Disorders / Developmental Delay, Pain & Chronic Illness, Adherence to Medical Treatments & Pill Swallowing, Social skills deficits / Relationship problems, Healing from Trauma / Abuse, Feeding Disorders / Failure to Thrive, Child Obesity, Adoption/Foster Care issues

Our Psychologists take an active, practical, and evidenced-based approach to treatment. Services begin with a thorough intake evaluation and initial recommendations are provided in the first one or two sessions. Additional psychological assessment or therapy services are scheduled based on your child’s presenting concerns. In general, regular and consistent attendance to sessions by both your child and his/her parent(s) is necessary for psychological treatments to be effective.

If you are interested in visiting with one of our Psychologists, please talk with your CCH Care Team.
