COVID Vaccine Registry Information

Lincoln Lancaster County Health Department (LLCHD) and the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services (NeDHHS) have launched online registries for the public to sign up for COVID-19 Vaccination.

(FYI—we have received mixed information regarding registering on one or the other vs. both.  At this time registering on both will not cause any issues and should be considered. You must be a resident of Lancaster County to register on the County site, residents of anywhere in Nebraska may register on the state site.)

When you register be sure to:

  • Enter your medical conditions that put you at increased risk.
  • If you are older than 16 but younger than 18 note that you must receive the PFIZER vaccine due to age.

(Pfizer is approved for 16 and up, Moderna is only approved for 18 and up.  Those are the only 2 approved vaccinations available in the United States at this time.)

High Risk Medical Conditions:

  • Asthma
  • Cancer (Currently have Cancer)
  • Cerebrovascular Disease affecting Blood Vessels
  • Chronic Kidney Disease
  • Chronic Liver Disease
  • COPD (Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease)
  • Cystic Fibrosis
  • Chronic Lung Disease
  • Diabetes Type 1
  • Diabetes Type 2
  • Down Syndrome
  • Heart Conditions such as Heart Failure, Coronary Artery Disease or Cardiomyopathies
  • High Blood Pressure (Hypertension)
  • Neurologic Conditions (such as Dementia)
  • Pulmonary Fibrosis
  • Sickle Cell Disease
  • Thalassemia (a Type of Blood Disorder)
  • Weakened Immune System due to Solid Organ Transplant (Kidney, Liver, Pancreas, Heart, or Lung)
  • Weakened Immune System from Blood or Bone Marrow Transplant, HIV, using Steroid or Other Medications
