Is Your Child Fully Protected Against H1N1?

Posted on: 01/25/2010

Reminder: Children under 10 need two doses of H1N1 vaccine at least 28 days apart. If your child received one dose and has not received the second one, please call us to schedule the second dose as soon as possible.

CCH gave 13,288 doses of flu vaccine during the fall of 2009. During the same period in 2008, we gave 7,202 doses. This is an increase of 84%!

Sometimes we don't think about it this way, but the fact is that influenza is a deadly disease which can be particularly dangerous to young children. Some of the kids we vaccinated could have had serious complications from seasonal or H1N1 influenza, and now they might not even get the sniffles.

Thank you for choosing flu vaccination for your child. We still have plenty of H1N1 and a limited amount of seasonal flu vaccine available. It is not too late, and we will continue to vaccinate as long as we have vaccine. Please call to make an appointment.

Sincerely,

The Physicians and Staff of Complete Children's Health
