Nurse Practitioners

A nurse practitioner (APRN) is a registered nurse (R.N.) with additional specialized education. Their education includes advanced nursing and selected medical studies as well as intensive clinical experience specific to the nurse practitioner's area of practice. Nurse practitioners perform physical exams, diagnose & treat illnesses, and counsel on preventive healthcare. Our nurse practitioner will perform your child's first weight and color check in our office. At that time she will answer any questions you might have about your baby and/or breast feeding.
